Our Mission

We don’t know what others have been through. So we must reserve judgment, not pre-judge, or marginalize individuals that we encounter, especially as professionals.

“We must remember empathy and compassion for others is a way of honoring Christ’s words for all humanity - to do unto others and value God’s creation.”

I’d like to speak to you today about a very important aspect of psychological counseling - Multicultural Competency. In today’s polarized socio-political climate, the client-counselor alliance is highly likely to be negatively impacted by personal disdain, marginalization, and mistrust, which can only produce unsuccessful therapeutic and educational outcomes.

Self-care promotion and wellness programs provide support that strives to prevent the progression of stress, anxiety, and low-grade depression into self-harm, apathy, hostility, and aggression.
